I talked to Am while he watching telly and trying to keep his feet up after the tiring day at the lab. The conversation was about choosing which pram we should buy for our baby. It makes me headache just to decide the most convenient pram for us. Of course I want a very light, trendy and good offer price (is must) ,instead of bulky one. Since we only use public transport to getting around.
Wifey = Ling, I have made up my mind about baby's pram.
Hubby = Have u? So which brand you choose to buy and why? how about the price wise?
Wifey = I think we choose the second hand la. We can get less than Euro 200 for the nice brand. Because you know, if I bought the new Quinny buzz, it costs us Euro 599. And if I chose stokke you could jump out of your sit to hear the price.
Hubby = How much does it cost for stokke?
Wifey = Well, Euro 1099 before less and Euro 699 after less. With the price offered I can buy a nice DSLR that I dream of since ages.
Hubby = Hmm...No la...Go for a new brand pram instead of second hand. And forget about DSLR. Do not cut baby's budget because of your toys. The baby is our first kid after all. So better go for the best option kan?
Wifey= So, ok..which one then? Stokke or quinny buzz? I do not mind..I just give u the cheapest option to save some penny.
Hubby = We will decide at the end of this month..I promise! I think maybe Quinny buzz . Just please do some homework by searching for the better sale option. If there is any. Ok?
Wifey = ok..no prob..tq ling..
Actually it just my trick conversation with him. I mentioned about the quinny buzz price before and he said it is too expensive. So I used the reverse psychology. We have been married for almost three years so I know how to persuade him without showing it obviously. Hehehehee..Tactic itu perlu..Oh well, I found one of the baby's shop that is offering almost half price sale for all prams. So far this shop is the cheapest price for quinny buzz. Which is about Euro 420. Can u imagine how much we can save our penny after sale? More than Euro 180.
The conclusion is, baby costs a lot of money!

Pas tu nak beli Quinny Zapp satu. Emosi hehhe

wei aku kalu kat uk akan je ebaykan diri..murah sikit...aku bukan tak mau zapp..ok lg kecik tp bila bby besar dia takleh lean back so ala2 letihla baby..mantap ko beli siap2..gud2..kat mesia mahal siol.
nurul, for ur own convenience n long term usage, quinny zapp is more practical than stokke - easy to manoeuvre, small n lightweight. had been using it on hazim since 2yrs old until balik msia last time.
quinny buzz, owned that too, practical to use frm since birth until 4 yrs old, tp besar yg amat laaaaaa.... n berat tho. tayar kena pump frequently sbb mcm tayar besikal je kekdahnya.
mclaren pun ok gak... cari yg cathcy design n practical la, suitable since birth until 3 yrs old.
all in all my preference:
maclaren - quinny zapp - quinny buzz.
try to find stroller yg buleh guna until baby up to 4yrs old which is value for money.
combination maclaren n quinny zapp tu dah mantap dah.

exactly! zapp is totally not applicable for since birth baby since due to its non inclination mechanism seat, thts why i used it on hazim when he's only 2 yrs old.
try to seek for local preference due to geographical aspect appropriately.
stokke is totally out of ur hand if u gonna use it on interlocking ground. pleaseee... not so practical, if pi klcc tu gayanya bolehlah.

che nad..will do all the advise and think carefully before buying. tqtqtq..At least if the pram can be used up to 4 yrs old is ok enuf ..after that pklain la bli yg 2nd hand yg murah2..tgk cene,,or maybe that time if dh kat mesia ok la..gna kete instead of public transport..

my 2 cents... kalau di msia quinny zapp mungkin practical, sbb cuma pakai masa shopping. tapi kalau europe better not, sbb anak2 akan tertidur, dan terlentuk2 lah kepala dia bila dia fall asleep... sbb di europe selalu travel jauh2... especially if you are using public transport. maclaren ringan dan kecil... tapi quite pricey if you get the one comes with the carseat, yg dia panggil travel system tuh. oh yea... bila nak discharge from hospital dan naik kereta, misi akan minta kita bawa carseat, misi akan letakkan baby kat dlm carseat tu herself baru dia discharge (ni kalau kat UK), i assume at least you will use taxi/cab to get home... cuba check dgn spital kat sana... requirement nak keluar spital.
noor..requirement uk sama ngn belgium bila keluar spital..masa kami kat manchester sy pernah preggy kejap..tp takde rejeki so gugur..tp spital sana sempat bgtau in details requirement tu...kami dh check mcm laren nya price even though set ngn car seat..stil ok..kalau quinny buzz mmg lg pricey compare ngn mc laren..lgpun kami nk cari pram yg tayar bole pam..memandangkan road area kami byk interlocking.travelling around tu salah satu faktor kamikena amik kira mcm noor kata sb kami mmg suka travel..hehehe
