Haris at 8 Months

Haris is eight months old plus today. He is such a happy baby. The latest progress about him is, he has two lower teeth. He started teething when he was four months old . But, this month I can see his lower teeth precisely when he smiles.

One thing I realized about my baby is, he is picky when it involves with foods. He hates rice so damn much. I tried to feed him with rice for a couple of times, but he refused it! He prefers cheesy foods with butter and milk. I have to make varieties foods for him everyday. If he hates something, he will not open up his mouth. He will stay still while shutting his mouth. If I forced him to eat, he will turn his face to the other sides. Oh baby! You are so smart ok!

Haris starts showing his preference. What I mean by preference is, he likes playing with Am compared to me. I can see the purest smiles on his face when he sees his dad. One thing for certain is, everytime Am going off to work, Haris will crying out and it takes time for me to sooth him. And when his dad comes back from work, he has already waited for him while beaming wide at the door. The funny thing is, you can see his impatience face to play with his dad. Hmmm..papa's boy eh?

Anyway Haris as long as you love mama, so it is ok for me..sayang mumma..

Quick update

I was ignoring my blog for almost four months. It is not because I have a specific reason to do so just I feel too lazy to update it.

In december 2009, we went on holiday to Swiss and France. We went there for five days. We managed to cover Colmar , Strasbourg and Metz France. Followed by Basel, Zurich and Luzern Swiss. This trip was the worst trip we ever had in our life due to the worst weather. Snowing for the whole Europe. Very bad snow indeed. The temperature dropped until -12 degree and it was so damn cold. I could not feel my fingers and toes. There were hurt so much. Haris was just five months old during the time and luckily he was behave very well.

In January, we went back home for a month. We flew off on 20th January 2010 and arrived in Malaysia in the following day. The day we stepped our foot in Malaysia, Haris turned six months old. We flew back to Belgium on 20th February and Haris turned seven months in the following day which was, 21st February 2010. We flew from Frankfurt and Transit in Abu Dhabi. In Frankfurt we overnight at Neny. And thanks God for their hospitality. The time flies very fast when we were back home. It made me homesick for two weeks after coming back from Malaysia.

A month after the trip to Malaysia, we went off to Gottingen, Germany. We went there for a week to accompany my husband. He attended a course and of course,the hotel and transportaion were free of charge. That was why Haris and I went there.

Until now, Haris turns eight months old. He can crawl, he can sit, he can stand while holding on something, he is teething, he can understands some simple instructions, he sleeps alone in his cot without my presence after 3 days sleep training, he can says his name ' hayeh', he can dance when playing his favourite song which is, Rock your body by Black Eyed Peas, he can wave good bye and etc. Mama and papa are so proud of you darling.
