Birthday Bash..at last he turned one year old..

First year old milestone for my boy is a very important matter to me. So, I decided to celebrate his first birthday properly. I planned all the party details since Haris was five months old. After studying various themes, I chose animals in the jungle, as it was. Simply because he just loves watching animals by giving us his baby talks everytime he sees animals.

I dressed Haris in lion costume on his birthday. Unfortunately, he was not co-operated very well during the party due to lack of sleep. He quite cranky but he was ok when the party just about to finish. Sigh! baby eh?

The designed details were done by me from scratch. Just enjoy the pictures..I chose only one third of the pics since I have so many pictures and it is impossible to share all in this blog.

I was trying to deco my own cupcake for his birthday party. So far I had made lion's cuppies. I have to improve my skills for the real cuppies later. The buttercream icing must be a bit thicker and I have to buy a nozzle for a better impact of the lion's furry hair.

Ellies sugar cookies,

Cookies that I made in ellies pattern. My first attempted of baking and coating, I decided to try it beforehand to make sure by the birthday time, I can bake n coat the cookies beautifully.

I will upload the final result of my cookies soon. Err I mean, after putting the eyes, mouths and ears of the ellies..

Birthday party stuffs- part 1

I ordered all these items online to suit the party theme. The theme that I chose is animals in the jungle. I decided to go for this since haris is showing an interest of animals especially -lion, elephant, hippo and giraffe.

By the way, I bought a tank, I mean helium tank to inflate the ballons during his party!
